“I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again.”
- William Penn English Quaker and Founder of Pennsylvania, 1664-1718
The first sentence of the quote is a good way for me to say “I expect to pass through Pennsylvania at least two more times.” Right now I am literally just passing through on my way to Delaware!
Before returning, here are a couple of sites and my favorite is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania. This particular Wikipedia site is excellent on Pennsylvania and covers both current and past history as well as pictures from around the state. What popped out at me is that the population of citizens 65 years of age and up is increasing; gambling casinos have been approved more extensively in 2010; and Dinosaur Fossils found in Pennsylvania: Atreipus (fossilized footprints) http://www.enchantedlearning.com/usa/states/pennsylvania/ — just little trivia facts that do not do justice to the greatness of Pennsylvania.
I have never been to Pennsylvania and look forward to exploring it more. Before that time, here is their report card which is the best number for a state that I have passed through: Pennsylvania ranks 14 in helping homeless children in their state. I will check into this number to discover the different ways the state helps and the people help as well as what else can be done for homeless families and children.

As I move on I chose to close with this kids song: ‘Hello – Goodbye’ with the best of singers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zPOT8Z3UlM

Agnes, Don’t miss Gettysburg! You can buy a CD tour to pop into your player, and drive with this narration from point to point throughout the battlefield. Gettysburg is a very sacred, moving, historically fascinating place that will continue to haunt the corners of your mind long after you leave. Then you want to come home and read everything about the Civil War all over again! Happy trails and trials!
